A message from the PopCares Board of Directors:

This was a long, difficult, and emotional conversation at our recent meeting.

Please know this: PopCares is not going away. We are not stopping. We are not pausing our mission. We are still here. We are still committed. And most importantly, we are still supporting our community.

Statement

After 14 wonderful years of hosting our Annual Dinner and Auction, we have made the difficult decision to take a pause from the event this year.

There are a variety of reasons behind this decision, but ultimately, we feel this is the right time to step back, reflect on this special tradition, and consider how we can continue to come together in meaningful ways in the future.

We are incredibly grateful for the tremendous support our community has shown this event over the years. It has become such a meaningful tradition for so many of us, and we are excited to see what the next chapter brings.

We will share information about upcoming events and other ways to support PopCares as plans come together.

While the event is taking a pause, our work continues. Those who would like to support PopCares can still donate through our website, PopCares.org, or by mailing a donation to:

Thank you for your continued support, understanding, and belief in the work of PopCares. We are so grateful to have such a caring and supportive community behind us.

Sincerely,

The Board of Directors of PopCares

Thank you for standing with us, believing in our mission, and being part of the PopCares community. We’re not done. We’re just finding new ways forward.

We are incredibly proud and humbled to say that, with the generosity and support of our local communities, PopCares has donated more than $1.4 million locally to help people affected by cancer.

That milestone belongs to all of us. It represents countless acts of kindness, generosity, and community support—and it reminds us why this mission matters so much.
